Cousins . . .

We thought we would get together to do a surprise portrait for Grandma and Grandpa. We had a lot of fun doing it at Liz & Joe's. What do you think of it?

Nick, Jillian and Chloe . . .

This is the third year we have had the privilege of photographing Nick, Jillian and Chloe. As usual we had lots of fun,and got some great pictures of them. We enjoy working with them and their Mom and look forward to their photo sessions.

Suzan and Yasemin . . .

This past Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing Suzan and Yasmin for their acting headshots. They are both taking acting classes and needed these photos for their auditions. What great girls to work with - you could tell that they were both really into the photography session. They both have the personality and talent to be successful in the pursuit of their acting careers. Good Luck to you both!

Beware of AWACS! You may ask what are AWACS . . .the answer is "Amateurs With A Camera". In the right situation, AWACS are quite harmless(i.e. vacations,Christmas/Holiday parties, etc.), but if its your Wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or Family Heirloom Portrait an AWAC can be your worst nightmare. On such an important day, do you want to take a chance with an amatuer or inexperienced photographer, or would it be wiser to invest in a professional with years of experience under his/her belt? A Certified Professional Photographer has spent years honing his/her craft. Taking the time to attend seminars to keep abreast with a fast changing industry. To become certified by the Professional Photographers of America, a photographer must pass an extensive test, submit work for judging and have recommendations from his/her peers. Then after all this, they must renew this certification every five years. Only 3% of professional photographers are certified. Only 9 of these photographers are working in Nassau county. Liz & Joe are 2 of them!
