Art Flower & Gift Shoppe - RVC

Liz photographed Art Flower & Gift Shoppe for the web. What a great flower shop. If you haven't been there you should stop by and check out all they have to offer. They have a large variety of gifts, it's not just flowers. Of course they have our note cards, framed Fine Art prints, etc. When you visit them mention our name. Their address is 41 North Village Ave. RVC.

We wish Debbie, Keith & Laurie and their staff the best of luck.

Liz and The Donald

Here's a photo of Liz with Donald Trump a few years back, at the Plaza Hotel in NYC. He owned the hotel at that time. We were photographing a wedding rehearsal dinner at the hotel. This was taken back in the days of film, you remember film, don't you? This image was scanned from a print.

"Sharkey"

Sharkey was in for his portrait. What a great little dog. He would do anything you asked him to do. Of course he expected a treat for everything he did. Good thing his Mommy had a bag full with her. And some toys too to play with during the break.

Insurance and Why It's Imortant To You

Have you ever thought about your photographer's insurance before you hired him or her? Or for any other vendor for that matter. We don't mean insurance on his or her's equipment. We mean  liability insurance that will cover you, should something unfortunate happen. Insurance is important no matter what the event. Whether it be a Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Portrait Session (indoor or outdoor) or in the photographers studio, insurance is a must.
Many photographers that work from home may not have any insurance other than (maybe) homeowners, which will not cover anything on a job. It is alway's a good idea to ask about insurance and if you will be covered by it. Best to get a certificate of insurance naming you and your caterer on it. Many caterers require this certificate. A certificate may not be nessary, but it would still be a good idea to know there is insurance in place for a portrait session or any other type of photography that will be done for you.
Liz & Joe Schmidt Photography, Inc. is fully insured and can provide the nessary certificates.
