Marine

This was our last studio sitting for 2013. We did a portrait session with this Marine and his wife. A fun couple to work with. Marines do have the best looking uniform. We give a 10% discount to military, fire and police.

Nikon Building Melville New York

This is my original photo of the Nikon building in Melville NY. Sorry Nikon it was shot with a Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone. Some work in Photoshop correcting perspective, etc. Then processed in Photomatix to get color effect.

Below is the result of my experiment. Any opinions on this photo. There are many other results that can be achived in Photomatix, Topaz and other programs.

Another Album Restoration

Here's another Wedding album from 1951 that we have been asked to restore. This client saw the last album we did for her friend, loved it so much she brought her Mom's in. Glad to see these old albums have such great value. Here's what it looks like now. We will post the finished album as soon as it's done.

Restoring Past Wedding Albums

All of a sudden we have had a run on restoring past wedding albums. Nice to see folks still cherish their albums from the time before shoot, burn, put it in a draw and never do anything with it.
We just finished this one from 1957. It's really amazing how much wedding photography has not changed since 1957. All the photos in this album looked about the same as todays weddings.

Had a great time helping Johanly prepare for her upcoming Sweet 16, by creating a beautiful portrait for her sign-in board.

Experimenting With Effects

OK just having some fun today. This is an image shot a number of years ago. If you haven't guess it, it was at a car show. The first effect was Oil Paint in Photoshop, next an effect in Topaz photoFXlab. Frame and mat was done in Pic Monkey online. So, do you like it? Or not.
